Loyalty to the Resistance bloc: Attacks on LAF are "dangerous terrorist development"

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc said on Thursday that the sectarian speech puts the March 14 alliance in the trench of terrorist and Takfiri groups.
The bloc also stressed that  the attacks on the Lebanese Armed Forces are "a dangerous terrorist development."

Ttwo attacks targeted the Lebanese Armed Forces in Sidon late on Sunday, killing a soldier and wounding three others.

On another note, the bloc called on President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam to form the new government as soon as possible  as per the 9-9-6 formula "to save the country and restore peace and stability."

Salam was named Prime Minister-Designate after the second round of the binding parliamentary consultations to name a prime minister ended on the 6th of April at the Baabda Palace, with 124 deputies nominating Salam as Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced the cabinet's resignation on Friday March 22, after talks deadlocked over the extension of Internal Security Forces chief Major General Ashraf Riff's mandate and the formation of an Election Supervisory Committee.
