Walid Nassar's list wins Lebanese Basketball Federation elections

The list of Walid Nassar wins the elections of the Lebanese Basketball Federation on Saturday in Jounieh.

The competition lied between two electoral lists, one headed by Pierre Kakhya and another headed by Walid Nassar.

Ealrier in the day, Elie Mchantaf, Joseph Nehme, Labib Cheble and Sami Berbere presented Saturday their resignations as members of the administrative committee of the Sagesse Club, but the resignations failed to be registered since they were presented after the official working hours at the Ministry of Youth and Sports ended.

Therefore, the resignations did not enter into effect, and so the club’s vote will be counted during the elections of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, scheduled to be held today afternoon.

In this context, the president of Sagesse Club Nadim Hakim told LBCI that he will participate in the elections, adding that he will vote in favor of Pierre Kakhya.
