Explosions heard across southern town of Maroun al-Ras

Loud sporadic explosions were heard Saturday across the southern border town of Maroun al-Ras as a result of a drill carried out by the Israeli army, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The training, taking place inside the occupied Palestinian lands, coincided with military flights at medium altitude over the border town of Bent Jbeil.
