Kazzi to LBCI: Hariri attempts to form national unity cabinet

Kataeb Vice Chief Sejaan Kazzi hailed on Saturday that Friday's stance launched by former Prime Minister Saad Hariri pertaining the participation in a  coalition government with Hezbollah.

Kazzi noted that such stance comes in harmony with Hariri's statement that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon "aims at bringing criminals to justice and not to seek revenge."

Kazzi's remarks were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show in which he said that Hariri is attempting to form a national unity cabinet, adding that Lebanese leaders are putting the national interests on top.

On Friday, Hariri announced that he is ready to form a cabinet with Hezbollah, adding that Hezbollah is a political party leading a “big coalition.”

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon accused five Hezbollah members of involvement in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri in 2005.

The armed party has denied all accusations.
