Patriarch Rai aspires for a fresh start in Lebanon based on national principles

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai congratulated Sunday President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Tammam Salam over the formation of the new cabinet, praising the Lebanese Armed Forces avoiding additional catastrophes form striking Lebanon.

During the annual event held at St. Maron's parish in Rome on the occasion of St, Maron’s Day, Rai aspired for a fresh start for Lebanon based on national principles.
