LAF Intelligence arrests uncle of detainee Omar al-Atrash in Qaa region
The Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested on Sunday in the Qaa region a man suspected to be the so-called terrorist Hussein Qassem al-Atrash, the uncle of detainee Omar al-Atrash.
Security sources told LBCI that appropriate measures will be undertaken against the suspect whose movements were monitored and who is suspected to be involved in terrorist acts.

The Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested Omar al-Atrash Friday January 24, on charges of being involved in recruiting suicide bombers, smuggling rigged cars and explosive belts and planning terrorist attacks that have recently rocked the southern suburb of Beirut and Hermel.
On Sunday 25 January, al-Atrash confessed to bringing car bombs, explosive belts and suicide bombers to Lebanon.
