Minister Harb says Sleiman’s speech did not aim to criticize a specific party
Telecommunications Minister Boutros Harb stressed on Monday that the latest speech of President Michel Sleiman did not aim to criticize a specific party, noting that Hezbollah’s response ignited the issue.

In a phone call with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show, Harb said the recent debate between President Sleiman and Hezbollah takes a toll on the meetings of the ministerial statement drafting committee, hoping that it will not have significant repercussions.

The Minister also commented on the proposal of Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil who suggested that the ministerial statement could be composed of one sentence, noting that this proposal was rejected by all parties.
