STL Trial Chamber to hold status conference Tuesday

The Trial Chamber of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon will hold a Status Conference on Tuesday 4 March in relation to the state of trial preparation of the Merhi defense team.

This follows the Trial Chamber’s decision to join the Merhi case with the Ayyash et al. case, and to temporarily adjourn the trial.

The Status Conference, which will be public, will begin at 10 AM (Central European Time). The Trial Chamber may decide to go into closed session if confidential matters need to be discussed.
