Beirut airport foils drug smuggling bid to Cairo

The Airport Security Inspection Police at Beirut International Airport foiled Monday a bid to smuggle out drug pills.

In details, Airport Security suspected the 24-year-old Egyptian passenger who was heading to Cairo when 1450 drug pills, equivalent to 2kgs of drugs, perfectly put in glass containers were seized in his suitcase. The man with initials A.F. was arrested and transferred to the ISF Drug Control Office to carry on with the investigation.
