ISF Information bureau arrests 2 Syrians over child abduction
The Internal Security Forces' Information bureau arrested on Thursday 2 Syrian nationals in the Bekaa region of Britel for involvement in the abduction of 9 year-old child Michel Ibrahim Saqr, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The Syrians were identified as Ismail Ali al-Hussein (born in 1968) and Imad Youssef Soueid (born in 1972).

Michel Saqr, born to Ibrahim Saqr, a prominent Lebanese businessman, was released last month just a day after being kidnapped while en route to school.

In the details, a Grand Cherokee vehicle transported Michel to the town of Hortaala, then to the Talya police office, and later to the Serail of Zahle where he was received by Internal Security Forces and then by his family members.

Michel's abduction triggered a chain of reactions with a number of citizens blocking the Zahle highway with burning tires to protest the kidnapping.
