Reconciliation brokered in Beirut between rival families- sources

Sources told LBCI on Sunday that a reconciliation was brokered at the residence of Rashed Jaafar in Beirut, between the Nassereddine and Meqdad families following the dispute that broke out yesterday.

On Saturday, three Lebanese citizens were injured and an apartment was set on fire after clashes erupted between the Nassereddine and Meqdad families in al-Jamous neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburbs.

Lebanese Armed Forces members heavily deployed in the aforementioned neighborhood in order to quell the situation.
