Gemayel launches “Saving the Presidency” slogan

Kataeb party leader Amin Gemayel expressed Monday concern over the situation of the presidential elections, noting that a number of foreign powers are more keen on holding the elections than some local parties.

During a press conference, Gemayel stressed the need to exert stronger efforts and launch further initiatives in order to deal with the elections, pointing out that his party’s slogan will be “Saving the Presidency,” through holding the presidential elections on time.

In this context, Gemayel said that he will be holding contacts starting tomorrow (Tuesday) and meeting with leaders of all the factions in order to reach a solution for the current crisis, warning against the devastating effect that may result in case it is not resolved.
