Former PM Hariri adamant on upholding state institutions- Kataeb leader

The Kataeb Party's Central Committee Coordinator MP Sami Gemayel held a meeting on Saturday with Future Movement head MP Saad Hariri in Paris, Kataeb party leader Amin Gemayel confirmed on Monday following a meeting with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Rai in Bkerke.

Speaking to journalists following the meeting, Gemayel relayed Hariri's stance in regards to safeguarding the state institutions and the role played by the Christian community in the country.

Last week, Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel launched an initiative that aims to settle Lebanon’s presidential crisis.

In this regard, he met with several leading officials, including Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun, Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh and National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt.
