Wahhab nominates MP Aoun for presidential elections
Arab Tawhid Party leader Wiam Wahhab stated on Monday that the country is heading towards a presidential void unless a "miracle" happens before the 25th of May, stating that the party that did not nominate a serious candidate should bear the responsibility of this vacuum.

During a meeting with Change and Reform Bloc leader MP Michel Aoun, Wahhab mentioned that there is no clear justification to extend the mandate of Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, adding that the candidacy of Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea is a joke seemingly since the "March 14 forces are not taking his candidacy in a serious manner."

In the same regard, Wahhab said that MP Michel Aoun is the only one capable of saving the country, pointing out that he nominates Aoun for the presidential elections.

On another note, Wahhab hailed the stability prevailing over the country as well as the achievements of the cabinet regarding the security situation.
