In a routine army security sweep during the month of December 2011, 760 law-breakers were arrested on various charges ranging between illegal entry into the country, involvement in petty criminality, drugs-narcotics' peddling and driving vehicles and motorcycles at high speed.

About 118 stolen vehicles and 47 motorbikes along with a number of firearms, ammos, narcotics and illegal tobacco packets were seized in the process.

Those arrested and their confiscated goods have been handed over to respective courts for prosecution, Yarzeh-based army Guidance Department spokesperson announced today.
