Siniora: Extra-state weapons continue to threaten the security of the Lebanese
Head of the Future bloc MP Fouad Siniora hailed Thursday the role played by the Lebanese security forces in protecting the Lebanese people, pointing out that the parties possessing extra-state weapons are endangering the country and the people’s safety.

In this context, Siniora called on Hezbollah to halt its involvement in the Syrian war and return to Lebanon.

"State legitimacy is alone capable of safeguarding the country from terrorism."

Siniora noted that amid the regional wars caused by the dominance of tyranny and extremism, "the Lebanese people’s only option is to hold on to their country by restoring coexistence and freedom."

“The people need to promote diversity based on equality and democracy, which seeks to protect human rights,” he stated.Siniora added that the events taking place in Lebanon and the region prove that the values adopted by the March 14 coalition are the values that protect and represent the Lebanese people.
