Iranian ambassador calls for building bridges between Lebanese factions

The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fatah Ali stressed Friday the need to build bridges between all the active and effective political movements on the Lebanese scene.

Following his meeting with Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, Ali declared that his country seeks to preserve Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and stability, hailing the efforts deployed by the security apparatuses in facing the challenges imposed by terrorist organizations.

Separately, Bassil held talks with various ambassadors of the permanent member states of the UN Security Council.
