REPORT: Tripoli calls on restaurants to respect Muslims during Holy Month of Ramadan

In an unprecedented move the northern city of Tripoli has not witnessed even during the civil war, the city’s municipality called on the owners of restaurants and cafes to respect the sanctity of the Holy Month of Ramadan and the privacy of the fasting Muslims.

The decision was issued based on the request of the Department of Islamic Endowments.
