Sources told LBCI on Saturday that Monzer al-Hassan who is suspected of providing the suicide bombers of the Duroy hotel with explosives asked the two terrorists to change their goal and attack al-Saha restaurant in Beirut's southern suburb.

The same sources added that the injured would-be suicide bomber Abdel Rahman al-Shnifi revealed during the interrogations that a Syrian person notified him that their mission would be to target the Lebanese Armed Forces or the Lebanese General Security.

Investigations also revealed that the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) is selling oil in Syria and Iraq to fund raise the terrorist organization.

According to the sources, al-Shnifi was transferred on Friday to the Hotel Dieu Hospital to receive the needed medical treatment before returning to the detention center.

The sources concluded by saying that the brother of Raouche's suicide bomber Ahmad Abdel Rahman al-Thawani was arrested lately by the Lebanese General Security for suspecting of being involved in terrorism before releasing him later on.

On Thursday, Lebanon's General Security circulated the photo of al-Hassan who is suspected to be the man who provided explosive belts to the network that was raided at the Duroy Hotel in Beirut's Raouche region.          

Al-Monzer Khaldoun al-Hassan (24) holds the Swedish citizenship under the name of "Monzer Al Hassan".           

According to information made available, the fugitive uses two vehicles, a beige Nissan and a grey Mercedes 2005, which are thought to be loaded with explosives.           

A suicide bomber blew himself up at the Duroy Hotel in Beirut's Raouche region on Wednesday as General Security forces were conducting a raid, wounding several people, including members from the General Security.           

The attack is the third blast in the country in less than a week.
