Hand grenade targets Tripoli bakery not observing Ramadan fast

Unknown assailants tossed on Thursday a hand grenade near a bakery in the northern city of Tripoli, in the second such attack in two days.

In the details, the explosive device targeted a bakery in the Ezzeddine street on the backdrop of serving food during Ramadan's daylight fasting hours.

A vehicle parked nearby was damaged by the explosion.

On Wednesday, the state-run national News Agency reported that four people were injured after an unidentified person tossed a hand grenade near a cafe in Abed Al-Hamid road in Tripoli's Bab al-Tebbaneh neighborhood.

The injured were identified as: Jamil Badra, Hassan Ali Hussein, Taher al-Omar and Bilal al-Ali.

Preliminary information revealed that the hand grenade allegedly targeted the persons inside the cafe "who are not fasting during the holy month of Ramadan."
