Sources reported to LBCI that clashes in the Ain el-Bayda region lasted for almost an hour, adding that LAF soldiers pursued armed men and cordoned off the region.
Meanwhile, security sources stated that clashes in the Ain el-Bayda region are linked to the situation in Arsal.
Earlier, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that clashes broke out at 1:30 am between the Tall al-Bayda post, which is controlled by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command, and the adjacent Kfarzabad area.
NNA added that light and medium weapons and rockets were used in the fighting, pointing out that clashes lasted until 4:30 am.
