MP Hekmat Dib to LBCI: All forms of extremism must be addressed in Lebanon

Change and Reform bloc MP Hekmat Dib hailed on Tuesday the return of former Prime Minister MP Saad Hariri to Lebanon saying it will serve well if it aims at easing down sectarian rhetoric and battling extremist forces in the country.

Dib's comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show during which he noted that all forms of extremism must be addressed in Lebanon.

On another note, he reiterated that he rejects tax raises to fund the controversial pay scale over fears of inflation and its affect on those below the line of poverty.
