Speaker Berri, Minister Mashnouq meet, discuss security situation in Arsal, Bekaa

Speaker Nabih Berri met Monday with Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq in Ain al-Tineh, and discussed with him the latest developments on the security level.

Following the meeting, al-Mashnouq noted that the discussions featured high on the situation in the northeastern town of Arsal and the Bekaa region, pointing out that Berri will take the necessary measures in this regard.

The minister also stressed that the cabinet’s duty is to restore security in the region and to guarantee civil peace among citizens.
