Lebanon's deputies announce new initiative over presidential elections
Future bloc leader MP Fouad Siniora and Lebanese Forces MP Georges Adwan held on Tuesday a press conference at parliament whereby they announced a new initiative to break the stalemate over the presidential elections.

In this context, Siniora announced a new initiative by the March 14 coalition to break the stalemate over the presidential elections.

Siniora said the camp is ready to hold consultations with all parties over a candidate who abides by national principles and who shall be nominated with the consent of the Lebanese people.

MP Siniora also said the March 14 coalition will continue to support the candidacy of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, stressing the need to honor constitutional deadlines and the notion of power rotation.
