President Aoun expresses solidarity with Oman, condemns targeting of Cyprus

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun continued contacts with leaders of brotherly and friendly countries, holding phone calls with the Sultan of Oman and the president of Cyprus.

Aoun spoke with Haitham bin Tariq, expressing Lebanon’s solidarity — both leadership and people — with the Sultanate of Oman and its citizens amid the sensitive circumstances facing the region.

He also contacted Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, condemning the targeting of Cypriot territory and affirming Lebanon’s solidarity with the friendly Cypriot people.
