Hariri undergoes surgery in the French Alps

Former PM Saad Hariri underwent surgery Saturday morning in the American Hospital in Paris after fracturing his leg in a skiing accident in the Alps. Hariri was spending his vacation along with his wife and children in the French Alps.

Hariri was rushed to a regional medical center where he was administered first aid. He was later transferred to the American hospital in Paris where he underwent a three-hour surgery.

His doctor said that the surgery went well and Hariri only needs bed rest for a few days to recover.
