Humanitarian tragedies at Burj al-Barajneh refugee camp

The residents of Burj al-Barajneh refugee camp are living a humanitarian tragedy in light of the camp’s deplorable condition.

LBCI cameras toured the camp’s tight alleyways accompanied by social activists and met a man called Issa who is suffering from physical and intellectual disabilities and who faces difficulties to move inside the camp due to its deplorable condition.

At the house of Khalidiyya, a new tragedy came to light, the tragedy of an old and sick refugee.

In this regard, Minister of Social Affairs Wael Abu Faour toured the camp, listened to the refugees’ needs and demands, and visited the owners of worn-out homes and sick families.

Abu Faour said that the visit is designed to sign an understanding agreement with the UNRWA entitled “Dignity for all”, calling on ministers to visit the camps to take notice of the Palestinians’ daily plights.
