Sheikh Kaouk says Hezbollah will not relinquish its duty to protect its people
Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, Sheikh Nabil Kaouk, stressed on Sunday that the Resistance, along with the Lebanese Armed Forces, has managed to thwart attempts to sow sedition in Lebanon.

"The country is going through a critical phase," Kaouk noted, saying "all Lebanese political forces should take a clear stance supporting the military institution".

He also condemned as "traitors" those providing a political cover for takfiri terrorists who attack the Lebanese army, noting that provocations and political divisions are currently unbearable.

"Hezbollah will not relinquish its national, moral and humanitarian duty to protect its people and defend itself, no matter how much accusations are targeting the group," Sheikh Kaouk concluded.
