LAF units implement security measures in Tripoli, Akkar

Lebanese Armed Forces units have implemented security measures in several neighborhoods in the northern city of Tripoli and the Akkar region, the Army Command- Orientation Directorate said.

On Sunday morning, the army conducted widespread raid operations near the Baddawi camp in search of gunmen and fugitives and also raided other suspicious areas.

In the same regard, LAF units conducted patrols and set up checkpoints in the aforementioned regions, the statement added.
