Patriarch Rai voices support for dialogue sessions to end impasse in Lebanon
Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai stated on Tuesday that all dialogue sessions are essential, stressing that the interruption of dialogue between March 8 and March 14 forces led the country to its current situation.

Patriarch Rai, who arrived from Rome this afternoon after visiting the Vatican and participating in the honoring event of former President Michel Sleiman, voiced his support for all dialogue sessions that aim at ending the current impasse in Lebanon, adding that Lebanese factions will not be able to resolve their disputes without exchanging ideas and holding talks.

Rai reassured that the doors of the Patriarchate in Bkerke will always remain open for Christians and non-Christians, pointing out that he is always ready to receive Lebanese factions.
