Future bloc MP Wehbe to LBCI: We seek to spare Lebanon a sectarian strife

Future bloc MP Amin Wehbe said on Monday that his bloc and the Shi’ite movement Hezbollah express contrasting standpoints with regard to the concept of the state.

“We can’t obstruct the people’s interests with the aim of settling this great cause and based on this, Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri has called for dialogue with Hezbollah,” MP Wehbe said in an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV Show.

“We seek to spare Lebanon sectarian strife and overcome the current power vacuum so that the work of constitutional institutions can be revived,” he added.
