Hezbollah’s Qamati from Rabieh: MP Aoun briefed on dialogue with Future Movement

Hezbollah politburo member Mahmoud Qamati stressed on Wednesday that the group backs the candidacy of Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun for the presidential elections.

Qamati’s statements were made after a Hezbollah delegation, that included both him and Ghaleb Abou Zeinab, visited MP Aoun in Rabieh.

“Dialogue being held with the Future Movement will continue and both sides are very serious in this regard,” he said, adding “the Rabieh meeting tackled positive results on the Lebanese scene with regards to safeguarding the country and fighting terrorism”.

“MP Aoun was briefed on the dialogue being held with the Future Movement,” Qamati concluded.
