Syrian girl dies of cold in Arsal

A four-month old Syrian baby girl identified as Fatma al-Zein died on Monday morning from hypothermia brought forth by plunging temperatures in the Lebanese border town of Arsal.

The death toll from storm Zeina rose to ten persons, including seven children.

As temperatures keep dropping across Lebanon, refugees lacking fuel for their stoves and waterproofing materials are struggling to stay warm and dry in their tents.
