Change and Reform bloc lauds Hezbollah-Future dialogue

The Change and Reform bloc has encouraged the dialogue that is being held between the Shi’ite group Hezbollah and the Future Movement as well as talks between the Lebanese Forces party and the bloc itself.

“Positive signs were seen in both dialogues,” former Minister Selim Jreissati announced on Tuesday following the bloc’s weekly meeting.

The Change and Reform bloc also offered condolences to the residents of Tripoli’s Jabal Mohsen in the wake of the double suicide attack that rocked the Alawite neighborhood on Saturday, killing at least nine and wounding 36 others.

“The terrorist crime in Jabal Mohsen is condemned according to all standards and principles,” Jreissati said.

On another note, the ex-minister said the crimes of Btedei, Zahle, Faraya and Kaslik claimed the lives of innocent civilians, adding “the Lebanese judiciary must take charge of the cases and the suspects should be arrested”.
