REPORT: Israel shows no interest in escalating situation on border

Israeli forces were on high alert on Thursday as Israeli warplanes flew over border villages, one day after the deadliest escalation on the disputed frontier since the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel.

Though the violence raised fears of another war between the two foes, neither Israel nor Hezbollah seemed interested in a further escalation of the situation.
