The security plan expanded in the Bekaa region for the fourth consecutive day, to include the towns of al-Knaysseh and Nabha, while the security checkpoints remained on the highway in Bekaa and the towns of Brital, Hortaala, al-Hammoudiyeh, Baalbek and Maqna.
In this regard, the security forces arrested a number of fugitives and seized drugs, stolen vehicles and a counterfeit money machine.
In turn, the Lebanese Armed Forces declared that army troops implemented raid operations in the towns of al-Knaysseh, Rayha and Brital, where 23 Syrian nationals and 2 Lebanese citizens were arrested for committing criminal acts.
In a statement issued by the LAF command, the army said that a drug factory was raided, where large quantities of drugs were confiscated, as well as 4 stolen vehicles and a number of motorcycles without legal documents.
The arrestees and the seized items were referred to the concerned authorities, the statement added.
