LF leader Geagea urges Arab, foreign states to firmly address Islamic State
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea has welcomed what he said was “a bold and crucial decision” by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to launch air strikes against Islamic State targets in Libya.

In a statement issued on Monday, Geagea condemned the IS execution of 21 Egyptian citizens in Libya on Sunday “in a way that hasn’t been witnessed even in the worst eras of darkness and barbarism”.

“The least to say, Daesh (an acronym for the Islamic State extremist group) is far beyond human nature and the Islamic religion,” LF chief Geagea said, urging all Arab and foreign states to firmly address the militant group.
