Israeli military unit advances towards al-Wazzani River

The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that an Israeli military unit advanced towards al-Wazzani River on the southern border raising alert among Lebanese troops and peacekeepers.

The agency added that the 20-member unit was supported by a Merkava tank for monitoring.

The troops walked along the banks of the river, the agency said.
