Several people injured in a gas canister explosion in Ketermaya

The state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday that several people were wounded when a gas cylinder accidentally exploded at a bakery in the Iqlim al-Kharroub town of Ketermaya.

The agency added that the gas cylinder blew up inside the al-Sayyed Bakery near the mosque of the town of Ketermaya, injuring several people.

The wounded were rushed to hospitals in the region as firefighting vehicles arrived on the scene to extinguish the resulting fire.

Only material damages were reported.
