MP Simon Abi Ramia to LBCI: We reject the election of a “weak” president

Change and Reform bloc MP Simon Abi Ramia expressed Tuesday his utter rejection to the election of a “weak” president.

Abi Ramia’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he noted that parliament should not legislate amid the prevailing presidential vacuum.

Lebanon has been plunged into a presidential vacuum after Michel Sleiman's mandate ended on May 25, 2014 with rival political blocs still divided over a new leader.
