Two mortar shells found in a school bag in Lasa

The state-run national News Agency reported on Saturday that two mortar shells were found inside a school bag on the side of a main road in the Mount Lebanon village of Lasa.

The agency added the shells were not set to be detonated, according to an Army explosives expert who inspected them.

No further details were provided.
