Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea stressed that the dialogue held between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces party has started to take a strategic dimension, noting that the issue of the presidency is also on the agenda.
During the LF Europe Annual Convention, Geagea delivered a speech via Skype, whereby he said that the Lebanese Forces and the Free Patriotic Movement agreed on boycotting every legislative session that does not have on its agenda the citizenship restoration law and the electoral law.
On another note, Geagea noted that there is no need to fear the Islamic State, adding that some people claim that IS will cross the border into Lebanon and launch groundless theories.
“IS must defend itself in Iraq before thinking of invading Lebanon,” he said.
