“Baghdadi’s grandson” confesses of vidoetaping LAF soldiers execution

Military Investigative Judge Imad Zein interrogated on Tuesday Abdel Rahman Bazer Yashi, dubbed "Baghdadi's grandson", who confessed of videotaping the killing of late Lebanese army soldiers, Ali Sayyed and Abbas Medlej.

He also confessed to the killing of a military man in the northern city of Tripoli and tossing hand grenades targeting churches in the city.

Judge Zein duly implemented an arrest warrant that had been previously issued in abstentia against Yashi.

Yashi was known as the media official of the Islamic State, entrusted of videotaping, sharing and tweeting the terrorist group’s news and videos.

The Al-Nusra Front has in its captivity 16 troops, while nine remain held by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

The soldiers and policemen were abducted by armed men following clashes in the northeastern border town of Arsal in August with the Lebanese army.

A few of them have since been freed and four were executed so far.
