Security forces arrest suspects involved in Ehden shooting

Security forces carried out raids on Wednesday in the northern Lebanese town of Ehden, arresting suspects involved in a celebratory shooting at a wedding that left a woman injured.

In the details, the woman was having dinner at a nearby restaurant when the men opened fire, the state-run National News Agency said, leaving her with a gunshot wound to the lower back.

She was taken to the Ehden Hospital where she underwent surgery to remove the bullet, the agency added.
