Head of the Kataeb Party MP Samy Gemayel discussed on Monday with former President Michel Sleiman upcoming steps that should be taken in light of the cabinet session scheduled for the 27th of August.
Following the meeting, former President Sleiman noted that the meeting was the prolongation of previous consultative gatherings, stressing the necessity of passing during the cabinet session items related to the affairs of the Lebanese people.
Prime Minister Tammam Salam called for a cabinet session to be held next Thursday (August 27) at the Grand Serail.
The session’s agenda includes 39 items among them the pressing waste crisis, as well as the salaries of public sector employees.
