MP Aoun says new electoral law solution to Lebanon’s crises

Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun voiced Tuesday support for the demands made by civil society protesters over Lebanon’s political crisis, saying that he has taken a stance against corruption in the country time and time again.

Following the Change and Reform bloc meeting held in Rabieh, MP Michel Aoun questioned the sides that are mobilizing the demonstrators.

The lawmaker expressed his fear of the Arab’s spring effect on Lebanon, saying that a new electoral law is the only solution to the ongoing waste crisis and all problems affecting the country.
