Aoun to Jumblatt: It would be better for you to remain silent, watch your language

Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun announced Tuesday the initiative of Labor Minister Salim Jreissaty to hold a session at the Social Security Fund’s siege to take the necessary measures in order to overcome the crisis between private hospitals and social security-covered persons.     

“No patient must wait at the doorstep of hospitals; it is unacceptable for hospitals to refuse receiving patients”, he said.      

Aoun said that the public spending issue is now into the hands of the government, adding “we can always resort to the public opinion; we cannot tolerate any wasted penny”.        

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting, Aoun said that every person must assume his responsibilities, adding that the president is held responsible since he is pushing for constitutional violations.        
Aoun called on National Struggle Front leader Walid Jumblatt to be humble and found it strange that Jumblatt is attacking him because of the proportionality law while everyone endorses it.      

“Walid Beik, it would be better for you to remain silent; from now on, watch your language”, he warned him.           

In another note, Aoun thanked Hezbollah for sparing no effort to find priest Walid Gharios who was kidnapped on Monday, adding “the motive is personal, it is neither religious, nor sectarian; it is not even political”.
