Introduction to the evening news 09-05-2012
The cabinet session has no surprises so far; the council postponed discussing the issue of the public spending that reached 8.9 trillion LBP. The discussion of this issue was limited to the Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi’s proposal concerning the 4.9 trillion LBP expected to be spent until the end of July.

Therefore, the cabinet would have postponed the explosion of the spending bomb, but this does not mean that the possibility of an explosion is eliminated.

In Syria, the most dangerous event that has happened since the arrival of the UN observers to Damascus would be the blast targeting a UN observer convoy and injuring eight soldiers escorting the monitors. This blast came a day after the international envoy Kofi Annan announced his intention to visit to Damascus.
Before going through these details, the beginning will be with a media event: PAC’s employees have been granted their rights in compensations and entitlements.
