We are being targeted by “Shabiha”: Daher

The Future Bloc member MP Khaled Daher said that the Lebanese people live in a democratic country unlike Syrians and other Arabs who suffer under the rule of dictators.

“As a member of the Lebanese Parliament I find myself obliged to hold accountable any misconduct in the government or the state” Daher told Loubnan al Horr in an interview on Saturday.

Wondering “how did the Lebanese authorities find a link between me, MP Mouin El Merhebi, former PM Saad el Hariri and the shooting incident in Akkar?”

Daher said, “We are targeted by “shabiha” and other army officials using their full powers upon us. He added that these actions aim to weaken the Future Movement and the Lebanese Forces in their areas.
