LAF contains bout between Syrian workers in Zahle

An individual dispute erupted between Syrian workers in al-Karak, Zahle, and soon turned into a stone-throwing clash, inflicting damages on a number of vehicles.

The LAF intervened immediately and arrested 12 persons as it raided several places to apprehend further possible Syrian involvement in the incident.

Eyewitnesses had earlier reported that the clash erupted between pro and anti-Assad Syrians on political reasons. However, interrogations later revealed that the source of the dispute originated over trivial work-related disputes
